Planning a JOINT Bachelor/ette Party – I need your help!!! Got any great ideas?
I am the MOH and have been asked to put together a joint bachelor/ette party here in Sacramento, CA. As you know, Sac doesn’t have the night life like places like Las Vegas and we need to have it here in town. I have been racking my brain what kind of activities I can plan to have the off the hook Joint Bachelor/ette Party ever. The party consists of only 5-7 people total – so whatever I come up with needs to be fun and fit for a small group of people. I can only come up with ideas like… bowling, wine-tasting, golf, and stuff like that, but these aren’t the greatest of items. I wish Sac had a Dave & Busters – I heard this is a fun place to hold a joint party. Does anyone know either from personal experience or word of mouth any ideas on what I can do to plan this event? I seriously need some help!!! Mucho Gracious!

Get a chef to come into your home and make you all a meal. We had a chef that made us a whole bunch of dishes and we just ate as they came out. It was kind of like a cooking show. We sat around drinking wine all night eating food. And then we had a big poker party, a lot of us never played poker before but we all had a blast. Everyone came with $30 and we played all night.
The chef also made us specialty drinks for the night.

I just went to one last August. the MOH rented a huge condo for the weekend (everyone chipped in) and the wedding party members and their dates stayed over 1 or 2 nites. I stayed 1 nite with my bf who was a groomsman but some others stayed 2 nites, Fri & Sat. There were 10 or 12 of us staying in the condo but it had enough room for every couple. I don’t know what they all did Fri nite but I got there Sat and half the people went hiking nearby and the rest of us played tennis and went swimming, because the condo grounds had those facilities. Then we made appetizers and had drinks and then went out for dinner, 14 of us. After dinner we played a dumb trivia game and the next day we just went to breakfast and went home. It was very laid back and cool and there were different activities for different tastes (I hate hiking).
