I know you are playing naive, but the president and the politicians work for us not the other way around. They’ve shown time and time again that that means nothing to the despite overwhelming opinion against the bailouts. But, we got bailouts. That’s just one example. Your kids (or your straight friends kids?) futures are mortgaged.
